Who We Are

Cancer Support Community Delaware (CSCDE) is a local affiliate of an international nonprofit organization, providing emotional, physical, and financial support throughout the cancer journey. We offer support groups, healthy lifestyle classes, educational sessions, and financial assistance for cancer patients and survivors, as well as their caregivers, families, and loved ones.

With locations in all three counties across Delaware, CSCDE provides in-person, hybrid, and virtual support options. Participants range in age from 18 to over 90 and represent all stages of the cancer experience. All support groups are professionally facilitated by licensed mental health professionals, all programs are led by qualified experts in their respective fields, and all our programming is offered at no cost for our participants.

Impact Statement

Cancer Support Community Delaware strives to ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community. As a statewide nonprofit organization our support groups and programs are professionally led and are provided at no cost to help participants and caregivers cope with the emotional and life changing aspects of cancer.

Join us for Mind & Medicine: Understanding Mental Health Medications During Cancer Care, presented by Stacey DeLukey, MSN, BS, APRN-CNP, PMHNP-BC, a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at the Bayhealth Cancer Institute. This educational session will provide a patient-friendly overview of mental health medications during cancer care, including common uses, benefits, side effects, and important questions to discuss with your care team. All who register will receive the session recording.
